Our founding team has worked together since 2011, bringing people and organisations together to create meaningful progress across healthcare, technology and professional education.

Maggie and Toby launched Diabetes Professional Care (DPC) in 2015, inspired in part by Maggie’s own experience of living with diabetes and related conditions. Created to provide free, accessible education and practical training for healthcare professionals, DPC grew from 800 visitors in its first year to become the leading conference and exhibition in its market, welcoming more than 6,000 healthcare professionals, policymakers, regulators and industry partners.

Its scope expanded across cardiovascular and renal care, ophthalmology and podiatry, supported by dedicated programme streams and year-round online education. With David Strain as a key advisor and champion of education, this included an award-winning digital education programme and the creation of United Through Diabetes during the global pandemic.

That experience shapes the AI Health Society today: bringing diverse communities together, breaking down silos and turning shared knowledge into practical action. Our ambition is to build a connected, multidisciplinary community that helps people understand, implement and scale AI in healthcare, improving outcomes and experience for patients, professionals and the wider health system.
